Boiled, fried or 360’d? [X360] (uk.videogames.games.yahoo.com)

Ever wondered why the 360 has fans that rival the volume of an Antonov 225 on take-off? Well it’s all in the name of generating a gale of sufficient strength to chill the console’s supernova-hot heat-sink by a few precious degrees – and to ensure that you maximise your ‘360 experience’ by having to turn the telly up LOUD, of course.

Yeah, we know that 360 gets a tad warm, alright, but we haven’t seen its impressive heat-producing prowess illustrated quite so graphically as in this video:

The berk in the video either hates his 360, has more money than sense or is insanely peckish. Possibly all three. Whatever the case he’s seen fit to dismantle his box and use its toasty innards to boil water, flame sambuca and finally knock himself up a tasty omelette. Y’know, like you do. Sufficient to say that the 360 manages all three tasks with impressively speedy ease. Less impressive is the swiftness with which he chuffs his 360 up.

At this point we should remind everybody that such behaviour is neither big or clever, and we certainly do not recommend that you try it at home. S'pose it saves time nipping to the kitchen when hunger strikes, though...
