Tom Clancy's newest game hits Xbox Live (gamesradar)

- gamesradar -

Ubisoft announced today that a multiplayer demo of their upcoming title, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas, will be available to download over Xbox Live. The release of the multi-player demo is a “kick off” celebration (or, last minute advertising) for the release of the game next week.

In fact, getting some early target practice in the demo could give you the edge in our quickly approaching nationwide Rainbow Six tournament you’ve been racking your brain over since reading yesterday’s news. For more information on that click here.

The demo will feature a single map (Calypso Casino) and two of the six multiplayer modes that will come with the game (Co-op: Terrorist Hunt and Adversarial: Attack and Defend). Terrorist Hunt pits you and up to three of your friends—just like our tournament—against a band of terrorists controlled by the games AI. In Attack and Defend mode, sixteen players can choose to be either terrorists or counter-terrorists. One side will guard hostages, information, or a bomb site, while the other will attempt to rescue hostages, steal the information, or plant a bomb.

If multiplayer isn’t your thing, an Xbox 360 single player demo is already available to download from the Xbox Live marketplace.
