Eidos Makes Another Millionaire (IGN)

UK, November 10, 2006 - Eidos is resurrecting its Who Wants to be a Millionaire licence and promises to inject new life into the tried-and-tested game show format by introducing a cast of crazy characters, new game mod es and a fleshed-out multiplayer game.

Pencilled for release in December on PS2, PC and PC, Millionaire fans will breathe a sigh of relief because the traditional quiz show - answer 15 questions to win a million - remains intact, although there's now the option to choose your on-screen contestant and play with the Buzz! controllers (on PS2, obviously). The authentic WWTBAM experience is further heightened by the return of Chris Tarrant (well, his voice, anyway) and all-new questions, which have been penned by the same brain boxes who compile them for the TV show.

Up to four people can compete in the multiplayer, which is now bursting with options including a quick fire round, Millionaire party and a play or pass mode in which you can pass difficult questions over to another player. EyeToy support is included so you can stick your mugshot in the game, plus players who bag the big Millionaire pound prize are given a code they can enter on the game's website, so they can brag about their feat with other virtual millionaires.
