Action-Packed Anime Mecha Combat Game Takes to the Skies This Spring

Leading video game publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. announced today that Eureka Seven Vol. 2: The New Vision for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system will be available in Spring 2007. A prequel to the popular animated show, Eureka Seven Vol. 2 is the exciting next installment in the high-flying aerial combat series.

“Eureka Seven Vol. 2: The New Vision delivers an intense blend of mecha combat and extreme aerial board racing, while providing a fascinating story that leads up to the events of the animated series,” said Naruo Uchida, NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc.’s Vice President of Bandai Localization. “Eureka Seven Vol.2 has ties to the main animation storyline but will provide original content that enhances the Eureka Seven experience.”

After abandoning the corrupt military and becoming a professional lifter, Sumner Sturgeon has become disenchanted with the life of an air sport athlete. Fate intervenes when his lost love returns and enlists his help to discover and stop the creation of the dangerous CFS (Compact Feedback System). Join Sumner on his quest to find the truth, compete in lift races, and pilot over 17 powerful LFOs (Light Finding Operations) in a variety of thrilling gameplay modes such as Story Mode, Survival Mode, Dream Match and Conflict Mode.
